Sampled Spaces is a collection of cast panels made with molds produced from crumpled acetate. I have produced multiple variations of this work since graduate school in 2009. Designed as a large-scale modular tile work, the simple illusion of crumpled paper is intended to draw attention to our haptic and visual memory.

With representation from Hodges Taylor Art Consultancy, this iteration was commissioned by Beacon Partners for the lobby at 500 E. Morehead St. in Charlotte, NC. Cast porcelain, 45 x 105 x 4”, 2017
