This installation features porcelain modules and mirrored acrylic. The crumpled paper surface evokes a sense of imperfection, chance, and the material history of being touched by hands. Recreating these textures in porcelain imparts a sense of permanence and significance to an otherwise fleeting tactile experience.
The mirror introduces reflections that shift with the viewer’s position, making the installation feel responsive and ever-changing. Each porcelain module is backed with a hidden steel plate that locks onto a wall-mounted magnet, creating a clean and secure mounting system.
